Wilshire

The area of Wilshire surrounds Wilshire Boulevard and is composed of mainly residential areas. Ethnic neighborhoods in Wilshire include Koreatown and Little Ethiopia. Miracle Mile, home to museums and shopping and Echo Park are located in Wilshire. The Carthay Circle Theatre, a now-demolished movie palace in Hollywood’s Golden Age, was also located in Wilshire.
