As Disney advertises, it's truly a place where dreams can come true! Walt Disney World in Orlando consists of four different parks and two water parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom?, Blizzard Beach?, and Typhoon Lagoon? where you can have a fast paced, fun, dreamlike vacation away from the real world.
You can buy combination passes to the parks with your lodging or single day tickets. Buying a single day ticket will only get you entry into one park however, and that is probably all you will have time to do since each park can take a day or more! To experience everything you should set aside at least a week for your visit.
Each park has a different theme with unique rides and shows. The central park is the Magic Kingdom which is easily recognizable by its main landmark: Cinderella's castle. In the Magic Kingdom you can meet various Disney characters and try classic rides. Epcot consists of models of different countries around the world where visitors can experience other cultures. Hollywood Studios, which was formally known as MGM, has different movie-themed rides and explores the art of Disney animation and production. Animal Kingdom is the most recent addition to Disney World. Visitors can see different animals and experience the magic of The Lion King show.
Staying at a Walt Disney World resort is a unique experience in itself, as you get to stay in some of the most impressive, clean, creative, and entertaining hotels. Like the parks, each resort has its own theme and its own unique features. The accommodations vary in price, and there is also a campground where visitors can stay at. Be sure to do a character breakfast if you get the chance to stay at one of these resorts!
In addition to these, you can also visit the Disney Boardwalk and Downtown Disney which both have free public access.
