Vienna Boys Choir

The Vienna Boys Choir, which dates back to 1498, is composed mainly of boys from Austria and incorporates soprano and alto voices. The choir was originally founded as a band for Maximilian I, and in keeping with its royal roots, the choir sings mass at the Hofburg chapel every Sunday. They also tour around the world, performing in the world’s most famous concert halls and have worked with history’s greatest composers and conductors, including Mozart and Haydn.
