Union Station

Located on the red line, Union Station is home to many upscale shops, like Swarovski Crystal and Taxco Sterling Co., and restaurants. Visitors can store their luggage while exploring the city. The station is located just two blocks from the Capitol building and four from the Library of Congress. Locals wanting to travel can make the two and a half hour trip to New York City or just stay at the station and shop.
