Union Square San Fransisco

Essentially a massive granite platform, Union Square is a large shopping district that contains a wide variety of department stores and boutiques all in close proximity for a fine and convenient shopping experience.

The stores located on Union Square include Banana Republic, Christian Dior, Macy's and Lacoste.

Take a Victorian Home Walk and learn the difference between Italianate, Stick-style, Queen Anne, and Edwardian Victorian homes while taking a leisurely stroll through beautiful San Francisco neighborhoods. Tours begin at 11am every day from Union Square, and a $25 fee will be collected at the end of the 2 ˝ hour tour. No reservations needed – just look for a person holding a yellow “Victorian Home Walk” sign.

Cable Car Museum – Explore the history of San Francisco’s famed cable cars at this free museum. Learn how cable cars work and what they have to do with animal rights. Great educational opportunity for kids and adults.
