One of the oldest colleges in Dublin, it has been attended by many well known Irish writers. These include James Joyce and Oscar Wilde. The campus is a sight to see with its beautiful architecture. It is also home to the Book of Kells, a 7th century manuscript produced by Celtic monks. This book is housed in a labyrinth of intricate images from the text and information about how the book was bound and made in that time period. The actual text is exquisite and colorful. It is a testament to the painstaking art work done at that time. Also, be sure to stop by O'Neill's, a pub frequented by Trinity College students. It is just around the corner across from the visitors center. Stop by for a pint, great atmosphere, and fabulous food.
