The Statue Of Liberty New York City

The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island in the New York Harbor. Lady Liberty was given to the United States from France as a gift and was officially dedicated in 1886. Many people don't know that a smaller version of Lady Liberty is located along the Seine in Paris France to further commemorate the peace that existed.

Ferries run seven days a week from Battery Park ? from 8:30am to 4:30 pm. Ferries also go to Ellis Island.
