The Reichstag

The Reichstag is the seat of parliament in Germany. It is located in Berlin near Brandenburg gate.

Originally the location of the first parliament of the German Empire, the building was severely damaged in a fire in 1933. The present day building was reconstructed after the reunification of Germany and was completed in 1999.
