The Blue Goose is a full service restaurant open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner, and Sunday for a spectacular champagne Brunch. Enjoy fine dining at affordable prices in a comfortable, friendly environment. We offer simple fare created from local favorites, including mussels, lamb, salmon, steak, vegetarian selections, and our special Blue Goose pasta. All of our dishes are home made and the menu changes often as seasonal delights become available. Stop by and be treated to a memorable meal in our beautiful Victorian home. We also offer special event catering, happy hour specials, wine tastings, and patio dining.

Chef Kristan Swafford hails from Austin, Texas. She is a graduate of one of France's most prestigious culinary academies, Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française Groupe Ferrandi, where select students from around the world receive the best instruction in classic French cooking. She has sharpened her skills working under such notable chefs as Dean Fearing of the Mansion on Turtle Creek, Jean Cousteau of Relais de la Poste in France, and revolutionary Pedro Subijana of Akalare in Spain.

Chef Kristan combines her relaxed attitude about food with her culinary skills and experience to cultivate a unique and personal style for the Blue Goose menu. Her style incorporates Spanish, French, Rustic Italian, and Southwest influences, and is based on her love of food and family, stemming from her south Texas family influence.
