Known as "The Lone Star State," Texas is the third largest state in the entire United States, behind Alaska and California. It is home to San Antonio, Dallas, Houston and some of the truest cowboys in all of the USA. Known for breeding football players and beauty queens, this colorful state has plenty to offer tourists. In fact, it has so much to see and do, it's nearly impossible to visit for only a week. It's capital city is Austin.
