Tatev Monastery Armenia

A wonderful, fairy-tale, natural fortress made of rock sits on the edge of the Vorotan Canyon; this alone will blow your mind. The monastery's main church Surp Poghos-Petros was built by the bishops of Syunik in the 9th century to house important historical relics.
