Tate Modern

A renowned international collection of modern art is housed in this ominous, dark former power-plant located on the south bank of the River Thames in central London. The museum does not charge an entrance fee (like most public museums in the city) and warrants a visit. It is home to some very interesting, always stimulating and often confusing works of art. Take a walk along the river afterward and cross over the Millennium Bridge to the north side of the river where you will be a stone's throw away from St. Paul's Cathedral.
