Aldama
La Barra del Tordo
This is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Tamaulipas shoreline, and an ideal place for sport fishing. Through its shores, the Carrizal River crosses, forming a complex and beautiful ecosystem with rich and abundant vegetation and fauna. In addition, this place is considered a sanctuary for the Lora Turtle that every year reaches the beach to reproduce.
El Nacimiento de Aldama
A natural place where the river is born, where you can enjoy beautiful vegetation and swim in its peaceful waters, or spend a picnic day.
Vicente Guerrero Dam
The ruins of the City of Padilla are found under the water of the Vicente Guerrero dam; at the surroundings are vast woods and good tourist services. The Vicente Guerrero dam area has acquired enormous prestige among sports fishermen and hunters of ducks and ganders (from November to February).
Ciudad Ocampo
Ciudad Ocampo's main attraction is the Archaeological Museum, where pieces of pottery and stone from the Huasteca culture are exhibited. Four kilometers to the east of the Ocampo City, you can visit The "Parque de la Alberca," the ruins of the Igollo Mission, and a small pyramid with prehispanic vestiges of the region.
