St Stephen's Cathedral

St. Stephen’s Cathedral was built in 1147 in the Gothic style, on the site of a former Romanesque church. The cathedral’s most notable feature, its tiled roof, was added in 1952. Mozart’s wedding and funeral were both held at the church in the 18th century. Its tower provides a panoramic view of Vienna for visitors who climb its 343 steps.
