Aruba is home to a large barrier reef and several ship wrecks that make it a world class snorkeling and scuba diving destination. The water is warm and is clear up to 100 foot depths. Some great underwater sights to see are the Antilla wreck and Malmok Reef.
The Antilla wreck is a World War Two German freighter. The ships crew scuttled her in 1941 to prevent capture by allied forces. This is a very popular site and is often crowded with divers.
The Malmok Reef is famous for the large volume of sea life present including lobsters and sting rays.
