Santa Ana, California Travel Guide

INTRODUCTION

Santa Ana was founded in 1869, and is located ten miles from the Pacific Ocean. Its population, for the most part, constists of Latinos. The city offers its visitors museums, markets, and cafes. Santa Ana is also the home of Santa Ana College.

Crime has risen over the city throughout the years. The violent crimes and robberies rates are higher than the national average. More than half of all the murders in Orange County occur in Santa Ana and San Clemente.
