INTRODUCTION

Sanford is situated in York County, Maine. Sanford includes the village of Springvale which holds the Harvey Butler Memorial Rhododendron Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to many exotic plants such as different species of wildflowers. Sanford is also home to distinct historical sights such as County Courthouse and the Hollis Center. With its vast lakes and several inland attractions there is certainly plenty to do.
