Prostitution is legal in Costa Rica and although child prostitution is excluded, it has been an issue for years, which is why the law severely punishes this crime.

Make your way to El Pueblo, where more than 50 bars, clubs, restaurants, art galleries, and shops are located. Calle de la Amargura in San Pedro hosts many bars, restaurants, and nightclubs, but be aware of the fact that low-level criminals are an issue here.
