In 2008, San Bernardino started a new tradition called the Bikes and Blues Rendezvous, catering to blues music lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts. The festival is held in the spring and includes a bike show and poker tournament.
Also held in the spring is the National Orange Show Fair, a tradition since 1911. The fair showcases many exhibits, including art and animals, and also has carnival rides and live music.
Historic Route 66 ends in the San Bernardino area, and each September, the city hosts a four-day celebration of America’s most famous highway called Route 66 Rendezvous.
