INTRODUCTION
A unitary nation in the Caribbean and the smallest nation in the Western Hemisphere, these islands enjoy many musical celebrations throughout the year, such as:
the Carnival (held on St. Kitts from December 17 January 3), the St. Kitts Music Festival (held during the last week in June), and the Culturama (held on Nevis from the end of July-early August).
While visiting Nevis you should definitely horseback ride along a mountain trail and down along the surf-- it's an experience you will never forget! The island is perfect for hikers and beachgoers because it offers some of everything in a nice, small area. Make sure to visit the local town, which has beautiful shops full of traditional Caribbean goods and its own beached ship in the harbor.
