Saint John New Brunswick

Saint John is the largest city in New Brunswick and the capital, located right at the mouth of the Saint John River. Reversing Falls, also located at the river’s mouth, is a local wonder. At the Roof Top Theatre at the Reversing Falls Information Center, you van view a twelve minute presentation on this phenomenon.

History buffs can visit the New Brunswick Museum located in downtown Saint John. The museum has a thorough collection that includes various galleries. If historic architecture thrills you, then a stroll down Prince William Street will be interesting, as many of the early settlers’ buildings and homes have been restored; walking down the street is a step into the past. Also, many monuments are located in King’s Square honoring heroes of Saint John.

The Brunswick Square Shopping Centre houses over 70 shops. It is not only a hub for shopping; it is also filled with dining and entertainment options. For outdoor activities, travel to Rockwood Park. The park is 2200 acres and is filled with outdoor adventures for the family. The Cherry Brook Zoo is also located in the park and has over 35 species of exotic and endangered animals to observe. Chocolate lovers will revel in the Ganong Chocolate Museum. Visitors can take a tasty tour of candy making processes, equipment and displays.
