The Saguaro National Park is located just west of Tucson, Arizona and as the name implies is filled with magnificent saguaro cacti?.
The park is essentially a forest of cactus standing like silent sentries in the desert hillsides, and a paved road carries travelers through its winding vistas. The largest saguaro are estimated to be 200 years old and can grow to 30 feet tall.
Of course, as with any location in the southwestern United States, keep an eye out for rattlesnakes.
