Rozafa Castle Shkodra

According to legend, the Lady Rozafa was kept within the castle walls to keep the entire thing from falling down. The stone walls and buildings of the Rozafa Castle, which the locals proudly claims as the beginning of Shkodra's history, are exquisite.

To get a breath-taking view of Lake Shkodra and the mountains of Montenegro, trek up to the third courtyard. You can get there by car or by foot.
