Rhine-Hesse

The region was the home of the famous Burgundian and Karolingian kings because of its rich soil and incredible beauty.

This was the favorite region of Charlemagne and his sons. Today, Rhine-Hesse is not only an important winemaking region, but also is an agricultural area which hosts vineyards, orchards, vegetable gardens, and grainfields.

This is a wonderful place to head off for an afternoon drive.
