Reformation Wall

This monument honors the Protestant Reformation and John Calvin, along with other Reformation leaders, Guillaume Farel, Théodore de Bèze, and John Knox. These four men are carved into the center of the wall. The wall is 100 meters (300 feet) long and 5 meters (16 feet) high, and depicts important figures and history of the Reformation carved in bas-relief on the wall. The Latin motto of the Reformation, Post Tenebras Lux (“after darkness, light”) is inscribed next to the central statues.
