Rancho Los Cerritos One of two ranchos that led to the founding of the City of Long Beach, Rancho Los Cerritos is open to the public as a museum and historical site. A free tour through the 1884 adobe house and its gardens illustrates the area’s history, from Native American times through the development of the city of Long Beach, and shows visitors what life was like on a 19th century ranch.
