The Queretaro climate is a true gift for nature lovers. The territory within is changing for the variety of heights on the level of the sea. Thanks to this, the wonderous spectacle of its panoramic view includes: El Chaparral Espinoso (The Prickly Chaparral), El Matorral Desértico (The Desert Scrub), El Sotobosque, and El Bosque de Encino y Pino (The Forest of Oak and Pine).
San Pablo Temple
Adorned with arches and towers, this church was built between 1777 and 1785. People from the community enact religious scenes during Holy Week in its ample atrium.
Chalma Chapels
Every year, the image of Our Holy Lord of Chalma is venerated on December 25 in this church. Built between 1919 an 1935, its architecture includes an entrance arch and a tower finished with a half-sphere.
El Calvario Hill
Villagers ascend this hill, which is the site of an ancient ceremonial center, during Holy Week and on the Feast of the Holy Cross.
El Cerrito Pyramid
The Archeological Zone known as El Cerrito was the government seat of a large national area in prehispanic Mesoamerica. Here, important sculptures, glyphs, calendars, gravestones, and carved figures have been found. The area, dating back to the first century of our modern era, is under restoration.
Rancho Hostal SPA La Pitaya

Fiestas del Pueblito
The town's main festival is held in February, and the Anniversary of the Crowning of the Virgin is celebrated in October.
