Puerto Vallarta is a city in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The city is important primarily as a tourist destination. The beaches and the beautiful scenery make you wish you would never leave, and the warm weather and the wonderful hospitality will make this destination one of your favorite places to visit. If you aren’t into the younger crowd, you may want to avoid visiting during College Spring Break, which is the middle of March/beginning of April. During this time, it is jam-packed with college students from all over, but hey, if that doesn’t bother you, the more the merrier!
