This wondeful town indeed is the home to at least 2 wonderful attractions. Here you can visit probably the worlds best preserved Roman amphitheatre. This is an incredible experience and you will be left with a distinct impression of what it was really like in the Roman days. Not to be placed second best is the Carré d'Art, a modern art complex, opened in 1993 in a Norman Foster building, a great way to spend the afternoon.
FONDATION MAEGHT
This museum is the home to the gallerists Aimé and Marguerite Maeght's collections, with Matisse and Miró, Chagall, Braque, and Giacometti represented.
MUSEE MATISSE
This beautiful Villa was the home of Henri Matisse back in 1916 and is still home to a wonderful collection of his works
