The Kafka Museum is a tribute to legendary Czech fiction writer Franz Kafka. The museum contains first editions of Kafka’s books, diaries, manuscripts, drawings, and other works. The museum building is the house that Kafka was born in in 1883.

For those with strong stomachs and an interest in medieval history, the Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments contains over 60 torture instruments.

The popular Sex Machines Museum displays modern and historic sex instruments, including chastity belts and iron corsets, along with sex-related clothing and art.

Visitors to the Museum of Miniatures will need a magnifying glass to view its collection of miniscule items, including a 3.2mm-tall Eiffel Tower and the world’s smallest book, a .9mm tall story with 30 pages of text and illustrations.

The National Museum contains exhibits related to the Czech and Slovakian regions, including history and prehistory, theater, archaeology, and ethnography.
