Patagonia

Patagonia, Chile can offer visitors fun in ways that other regions of Chile cannot. The hot springs that are so common in Chile do exist in Patagonia, only most of them are situated in ancient forests. A popular outdoor activity is fly-fishing, particularly for salmon and trout, made easy and exciting by the many lakes of different sizes. Visit Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO reserve, for its biodiversity and natural beauty, and adventure sports.

Experience the environmental extremes that coexist in Chile. Take a cruise to the end of the continent where the landscape turns icy and visitors can access Antarctica. The next day revel in the tropical beauty of waterfalls and rain forests, which grow the second oldest species of tree, the alerce.

Enjoy tasting the specialties of Patagonia, lamb and king crab, when dining out in the evening. The night hours can be spent partying on a cruise, or unwinding next to a warm and intimate bonfire.
