Park City is one of the most beautiful ski villages in the West. Unlike Colorado towns of the same appeal, Utah's slopes are uncrowded and offer some of the best powder that the United States has to offer.
The town itself has one main street, remarkably named Main Street. This is where most of the action happens. Local bars, quaint boutiques, clubs, and restaurants line the tiny street, causing it to be the premier destination for travelers.
Park City is most recognized for its annual Sundance Film Festival, taking place in January of every year. Never-before-seen films grace the screens of the small theaters in the village for all to see. Famous people flood the streets, carrying bags and bags of free gifts from companies looking for publicity. Regular folks, unfortunately don't get any of the swag, but they do get to mingle among the stars at many of the local bars and restaurants. If star gazing is not your forte, I suggest avoiding the festival.
If the cold isn't your cup of tea either, have no fear! Park City offers lots of summer acitivities for the whole family. The mountains are lush, green, and gorgeous during these months, still offering a vacation-feel. Hotels and condo's offer deals during these months as well, and it's not as crowded!
