Visit the fields of Badrulchau, with its rows of large basalt monoliths, the origin of which is unknown. There are 37 stones, some weighing up to 4500kg. Just try and imagine moving something like that! Many of the surrounding hillsides were once terraced into steps and pyramids. It's thought construction began around 100 A.D. and was abandoned around 1600 A.D.
