Oxford is famous for Oxford University, but this city is actually more than just a college town.

HISTORY

Oxford University was founded in 1167. It was the first university in England.

ATTRACTIONS

Other than the colleges, Oxford offers museums, historic churches, and theaters.

If you're a fan of Harry Potter, like almost everyone in the world, you should walk through the college. The dining room was used as the dining hall in the Harry Potter movie, and the staircase has now become famous as one of the first scenes of Hogwarts. Filming has been going on all over the town for years, and you still could see some filming now.
