Irvine Spectrum: An outdoor shopping and entertainment district in Irvine, the Spectrum has a wide variety of stores, ranging from Apple to Forever 21 to Target to Barnes & Noble Booksellers. Clothing stores include H&M, Urban Outfitters, Vans, and Nordstrom. The Spectrum also has a wide range of food options, from snacks like frozen yogurt, the famous See’s Candies, and smoothies, to quick dining options like Subway, to sit-down restaurants like P.F. Chang’s, Maki Maki Sushi, and the Cheesecake Factory. Catch a movie at the IMAX theater. The Spectrum is very popular on weekends and during the holiday season for families, date night, or just a night out with friends.

South Coast Plaza: A posh mall in Costa Mesa with department stores like Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue, jewelers like Tiffany & Co., Armani, Versace, and Fendi. The mall’s exchange bureau offers better currency exchange rates than most banks. The mall also has a Disney store and lots of stores for kids and teens.

Fashion Island: Fashion Island is what its name implies – fashionable. Located in the affluent city of Newport Beach, this outdoor mall features high-end and mid-range stores like South Coast Plaza, including Neiman Marcus. Kids will love the Build-A-Bear workshop, and the whole family will enjoy one of two movie theaters in the mall. Dining options range from the downstairs food court to sit-down restaurants.

GardenWalk: Located across the street from Disneyland in Anaheim, GardenWalk is an outdoor mall offering entertainment for visitors who are looking for something non-Disney-related to do. GardenWalk has a movie theater, a bowling alley, shops, and restaurants.
