Ontario Place

Ontario Place is at the center of the Toronto harbourfront and is a landmark in the city of Toronto. It is also famous for the Cinesphere, which looks like a giant golf ball, which actually is a movie theatre showing IMAX films and movies.

Visiting Ontario Place also grants you admission to the CNE? and vice versa. It houses the Molson Amphitheatre?, a concert venue popular for awesome shows with fantastic sound.

Here, you can buy all-day passes to such events as minigolf, riding waterslides, renting pedal boats, and more.

There are restaurants, snackbars, and arcades to keep you busy. Current 2006 attractions include the H20 Generation Station, which is an outdoor climbing adventure playground, the Atom blaster, a foam ball playzone, various rides, and the famous Cyclone Speedway car ride.

Ontario place is great for a family day, and is especially entertaining for young children.
