Oklahoma, home of the famous play of the same name, has plenty to offer tourists. There are two large cities, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. Oklahoma City remains a sports centered community, focusing on their new NBA franchise, which they controversially stole from Seattle, and the local NCAA powerhouse, the University of Oklahoma Sooners.
Tulsa is located further north and has a thriving arts community. Oklahoma City is the state capital. The renovated "Bricktown" district has a growing nightlife scene and this is also the site for the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, one of the saddest places in American history. You can also take a cruise on the many canals that wind through Bricktown, stopping off to enjoy local southwest cuisine.
