INTRODUCTION

With more than seven million residents, Oakland is located in the San Francisco Bay area. The city offers a variety of parks and arboretums, museums and sports arenas. In addition the city has a vibrant nightlife with many bars and clubs in the area. Oakland is also the home of the renowned Berkeley University.
