Newbury Street Boston

Newbury Street is a popular shopping and dinning area in Boston's historic Back Bay area. The street starts at Massachusetts Avenue and runs east to Arlington Street. The western end is close to several college campuses and so has cheaper more college age type stores, while the further west you go the more fancy and expensive the stores get. One of the more iconic stores is Newbury Comics, which sells T-Shirts, music, movies and of course comics. Another Newbury Street staple is Johnny Cupcakes. Don't let the name fool you this store does not sell cupcakes, only clothing. If you are hungry there are several restaurants on Newbury Street. Try Kashmir Indian Restaurant for top quality Indian cuisine or go to Charley's for classic American style dining. There are several T stops that provide quick access to the Newbury Street area. Take the green line to Hynes Convention Center, Copley Square, or Arlington Street and you will be only a short walk from eight blocks of shopping and dining.
