New Hope Pennsylvania is a great "nice weather weekend" or weekday destination. Fun and spicy, full of great nightlife, and crowded on the weekends, it is also a historical haven for artists with its great art galleries, and the Michener Museum. Located on a wide and picturesque section of the Delaware River, New Hope's architecture is quaint and charming. Great shopping can be found here with lots of bargains and unusual pieces (especially in funky thrift and vintage stores). There are tons of interesting New Age and "witch" shops too downtown! If you'd like your palm read or your tarot cards read, then New Hope is the place to have these things done! It seems that there are psychics on every corner.
New Hope is home to some spectacular cuisine - boasting pubs and more unique restaurants to cater to almost every culture. Also a big hit in New Hope is a strange and fascinating turkish hookah bar.
Close by is the amazing Peddler's Village. This cluster of shops is ideal for browsing. Right after Thanksgiving, Peddler's Village is transformed into a winter wonderland! Sand sculpture and gingerbread house contests are held annually to celebrate the Christmas season.
There are plenty of hotel accomodations available, some of which even include some beautiful bed and breakfasts.
Enjoy the beautiful architecture of neighboring towns such as Washington's Crossing.
