National Gallery Of ArtThe Museum of Art History, located on the National Mall between 3rd and 7th on Constitution Avenue, has two buildings: the West building and the East building. Although completed separately, the West building in 1941 and the East building in 1978, the two buildings are connected through an underground passage. The National Gallery contains pieces from the Middle Ages through present day and has a strong selection of Italian Renaissance Art.
