A neighborhood of Long Beach in the Belmont Shore area, Italian-themed Naples is built on three small islands and is connected by a series of canals. Naples offers gondola rides and has a large fountain as a central meeting place. In the winter, Naples hosts the Naples Island Christmas Boat Parade, where lavishly decorated boats sail through the harbor and show off their Christmas lights and flair. Most of the houses on the Italian-named residential streets host parties after the boat parade, complete with live music, carolers, and festivities. Even if you don’t know anyone who lives there, take a stroll around Naples to hear holiday music and admire the spirited decorations around the neighborhood.
