Nairobi National Museum

Instead of visiting several different museums to get the history, natural history and culture of Kenya, go to the Nairobi National Museum to learn about all three. Originally opened in 1930, the museum was renovated in 2009 and has exhibits on anything from fossils of our earliest ancestors to stuffed birds to cultural pieces from Kenyan tribes to modern artwork of Kenyan flowers.
