Mississippi

Mississippi is named for the Mississippi River, which forms its western boundary and empties into the Gulf of Mexico. Interestingly enough, root beer was invented in 1898 by a man named Edward Adolf Barq, Sr. in Biloxi ?. This state also offers beautiful state parks, amusement parks, and plenty of nightlife and culture. The state capital is Jackson.
