INTRODUCTION

McGehee is located at the southeast corner of Arkansas and has a population of 4570.

HISTORY

McGehee was incorporated March 5, 1906 and was originally Founded as a railroad town. It was also the hometown of horror novelist, Nancy A. Collins. Nowadays, the economy of this city is mainly dependent upon agriculture and the trucking industry has repleaced the railroad.
