Matobo National Park in Zimbabwe is the site of ancient war ground. In the park, you can see the old grain bins where warriors once stored their provisions.
Some peaks in the park like Shumba, Shaba and Shumba Sham are considered sacred and locals believe that even to point at them will bring misfortune.

The park covers some beautiful scenery including some spectacular balancing rocks and impressive views along the Thuli, Mtshelele, Maleme and Mpopoma river valleys.
The surrounding Matobo Hills were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
