London Eye

WOW, when I saw this amazing huge ferris wheel I was blown away! There were people lined up to get on it and no wonder. Once in the Eye you can see for miles and truly get an idea of how big London is. It allows you to really see how the city is set up. Known also as the millennium wheel, this is a great stop and well worth the ticket price.

Unlike the normal ferris wheels you're probably used to, the Eye is an observation wheel. It is enclosed, with each capsule holding as many as 25 passengers. The capsules are air-conditioned, and passengers can stand up and move around to get the best views of London.

The ride lasts about 30 minutes, and can give travelers with limited time an overview of what London has to offer. Since there are few landmarks in London which give a bird's eye view of the city, The Eye is a must.

An adult can ride the Eye for 17 pounds (approx. $28 - prices are subject to change). If your trip to London is a celebration of a special occasion (wedding, bachelor or bachelorette party, birthday, etc.) you can book an entire capsule for your personal party.
