Lakeville Connecticut

Lime Rock Park: In 1957 in Lakeville, Connecticut Lime Rock Park had its first race weekend. Since then, the park has been host to many exciting events, and even has many experiences that gives race fans a hands-on experience. In fact, Lime Rock Park is probably best known for being one of the several locations of the Skip Barber racing school, which has numerous courses for drivers. Smaller organized events are SSCA auto-crossing track dates, karting, and even fun activities for a children's club like track tours, face painting, and the moon bounce. Larger events are like the recent American Le Man Series race that took place in July 2009. Several different car companies and race teams were represented, and a huge crowd came out to watch the races. For an added convenience, camping is even available for race weekends!
