Lake Nakuru, the most visited Rift Valley Lake in Kenya, is situated just a few hours north of Nairobi and is a bird lovers paradise.

'Nakuru' is Swahili translates to 'water bucket haven'. The lake is famous as a feeding ground for 1000's of greater and lesser flamingos and over 450 other species of water birds. There are over 56 different species of wild mammals to be founf including the rare white Rhino.
