Kruja Albania

INTRODUCTION

Kruja is a medieval town near Tirana. Visit the ancient castle; within is housed the Scanderbeg Museum. Whilst on the way, drop in and see the amazing medieval markets, and see what treasures you can find to take home. You come into Kruja driving past age-old olive trees and lime-kilns, with limestone outcrops offering the barest grazing to a few sheep and goats. Keep your eye on the road because the scenery will tempt you.
